I sighed imagining how I could get through the day. I thought this would be easier. I didn’t care about our relationship while it lasted; but I didn’t think our tie would be severely snapped like it was. Opening my eyes I stared at my reflection. Red rimmed puffy blue eyes stared back at me. I tried my best to cover up the sadness shown on my face, but if you looked closely you could see what I was trying to hide.
As I brushed through the tangles resting in my long black hair I wondered how I was going to get through the day ahead of me. Centering my bangs, I glanced one last time at my reflection before heading downstairs to grab my jacket and school bag.
While my 95 Lumina revved to life at the touch of my fingers, I leaned back and couldn’t stop myself from recalling the vivid images of the night before.
